In two weeks, NARAL Pro-Choice America will bring pro-choice leaders from across the country to Washington for a dinner celebrating the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and we want you to join us! Roe v. Wade is the historic Supreme Court case that made abortion safe and legal, and we celebrate its 39th anniversary in this critical election year.
This year, we’re introducing a special $40 ticket price for students. It’s incredibly important to us that students are involved in the pro-choice conversation, and we hope to have a strong presence of students from American University at the dinner.
The dinner will be Thursday, January 26, at the Washington Hilton and will begin at 6pm with a reception and silent auction, followed by a sit-down dinner at 7pm. Patrick Murphy, the former US Representative from Pennsylvania currently running for Pennsylvania Attorney General, will be our speaker; comedian and actress Susie Essman of Curb Your Enthusiasm will be our emcee; and we will be honoring the DC Abortion Fund with our Champion of Choice Award. With over 1,000 guests – including lawmakers, political figures, progressive leaders, and more – it’s going to be a fantastic event, as well as a great opportunity for any pro-choice student to get more involved with the broader pro-choice community!
You can purchase student tickets online by clicking here (https://registration.prochoiceamerica.org/roe2012student).
We appreciate your support and hope to see you on January 26!

Dear Scarlet,
You wanted a mohawk. We let you get one. It’s as simple as that, and it should be.
